I am heading back to Manhattan to begin my senior year at K-State, and the thing I will miss the most about Kansas City is the Kansas City Track Club. I moved to Kansas City for the summer as an intern. Being from a small town, running alone in the city was intimidating. Luckily, I stumbled upon the Kansas City Track Club. Everyone I’ve met has been so incredibly welcoming. Running with this group has made it much easier to venture out into the heat or drag myself out of bed to run early in the morning. With their company, I managed to run the farthest I’ve ever run in my life. Thanks for a great summer, and I can’t wait to come back next year!
