All 10K, 5K, and Walk for Thought participants will receive a high-tech t-shirt with the Going the Distance for Brain Injury race logo. 10K and 5K participants are eligible for age group awards which will be available after the run at the scoring booth. After Memorial Day, all awards can be picked up at Garry Gribbles Running Store located at Ward Parkway Center.

The Amy Thompson Run for Brain Injury began in 1987 with few hundred participants. Last year, the 30th year, the ATR garnered close to 2000 participants. The run continues this year with a new name, but the same objective – promoting brain injury awareness and prevention. Whether it’s making a donation, sponsoring a team or running the 10K, 5K or Walk for Thought, your involvement makes a difference.  For more details and to register, click here!

The Going the Distance for Brain Injury run is a Race KC Series participating race.
